This 750 yellow gold ring was created to enhance this splendid, large boulder opal.
This opal comes from Australia, and the term “boulder” means that it is characterized by a layer of precious opal adhering to the host rock, denoting its naturalness.
The opal has been framed by a yellow gold wire, handcrafted with fire and hammer in our goldsmith's workshop in Vicenza, and by a substantial shank, entirely handcrafted using the ancient goldsmithing technique of lost wax casting.
